Josh started CrossFit in October 2011 and has been doing “Fitness” since he was bicep curling in the basement with sand weights as a kid to when he was playing hockey since he could walk. He has studied the human anatomy through college and continues his study to this day. With his fascination of the human body’s capability and limitations, it has been a passion of his to share this information. From his studies and training, he ensures to provide members with the long-term wisdom of what their body can endure and excel within fitness and nutrition.
He is the owner of a nutritional consulting business with his wife and has had the passion for helping others help themselves for the past 15 years.
He also is a 42-year-old competitive master’s athlete and competing at Wodapolooza, and feels he has to offer athletes not only knowledge of movement, but the other pieces of CrossFit that no one talks about, the mental and emotional side of breathing.
“It’s been a part of my life since I can remember and CrossFit really helped me transition from bodybuilding. I was always looking for something since I stopped skating that would make me feel the same way and CrossFit does just that…breathless!”
